Diana was born in January, 1958 in Niagara Falls, New York. She and her family moved to New Mexico in 1962 and she has called Hobbs home since then. She started drawing at age four and never left a blank piece of paper in the house.
She started seriously working on her art in February of 2005 after having a kidney removed due to cancer. She has entered a couple of art shows and has done well. She is proud to be a contributing artist to the 2007 Egyptian Event of the Pyramid Society, helping to introduce newcomers to the Arabian Horse, and is currently working on pieces for the local racetrack.
Diana is a self-taught artist and enjoys spending time with her horses, cats, dogs, her best friend and husband, Wes, and daughter and grandson.
She is currently being shown at Native Desert and the Center for the Arts in Hobbs, and is looking for further gallery representation. She recently won Best in Class at the Lea County Fair Art Show and a second at the Fall Open Show of the Llano Estacado Art Association. She is a member of the Llano Estacado Art Association, the Equine Art Guild, and the Pastel Society of New Mexico. She also accepts equine commissions and has begun doing pet portraits..
